Decent signing for them, along with Aberdeen and ourselves some decent squads being put together for the coming season.

This could present another hurdle in him signing for the Yams.

Yep. United will struggle without Flood, Daly and Russell though.

Still have GMS (for now), Armstrong and promising youngster Gauld. No sure how their Jags sgnings will do though.

Goodwillie is a decent player but wouldnt say he is that much of a top goalscorer. Had one decent season at Utd then moved and did nothing really. Quick and skillful player but not much to worry about imo

I like that to be honest. We'll win some and lose some but then again so will teams around us, and possibly take points off Celtic and Rang..., ooh wait a mniute - Celtic. There is also the bonus of stronger teams dishing out hammerings to a Hearts side which isn't on monetary steriods.

But, but I thought he was signing for hearts?? Maybe Barry can clarify this? Or at least he could if he wasn't on 'holiday' which very conveniently started the day after he ****ed up on the wonga story :greengrin

Decent enough signing, and much needed by United. Apart from GMS they were looking pretty stinking for next season.

....or their new captain, who didn't even get a sniff of the Liverpool bench!

but poor old Gary Cock.....another big name slips away.

Good riddance from Blackburn I say! Never proved himself and waste of money. Just got payed to either play for the reserves or sit on the bench.

Maybe I dont know the whole situation but it doesnt seem like that was his fault. He signed for Blackburn for decent money, who then signed Yakubu. Goodwillie just seemed to make the odd cameo appearance because Kean only played 1 up top.

Only delays it by 6 months until the initial loan is up.
They'll pony up for the fee come January.
i heard he quite fancies partnering Boyd.

Saw Goodwillie play for Rovers, and he was completely out of his depth.

Slow and overweight, will probably do well at United. League One standard in England.

If he can do well in SPL he would piss English League one. Annoys me when people put our league down. Celtic would have won league one in England by 20 points+

Similar standard to the SPL then where they strolled it by 16 points.
