2013/2014 away kit

seen on the thread for the new home top that we are suppose to reveil this at the end of this month, i cant remeber the precise date.

what do think it will it will be this year then?

personally i would like purple as it hasent been done properly in a long time. but i think the odds are that it will be black due to having white and yellow away kits last year, hope to be proved wrong tho.

My personal view would be for the white with green sleeves. Should be interesting to see the outcome!

I think the Nike strips tend to be plainer than most and the purple/white sleeves or white/green sleeves wouldn't work as well without the Bukta or LCS motif to break it up. To be honest I'd like to see a bottle green top with a big harp badge on it.

I think Hibs should always be green home top and a white away top. We will have a 3rd kit this year id imagine, so thats the one they can experiment with.

What we need to remember is that the chances of us getting an away kit with green is a second colour is fairly slim given the chances are that it'll be a standard teamwear effort we get and not 'bespoke' to us

I was having a look at some of the Nike gear in the club shop today. Some of it was very nice - particularly the hooded rain jackets, in green and in black - I may be investing in one of those at some point.

Not too impressed by some of the other gear though - lots of polyester going on and that slightly cheap look where you can see the poly shining under artificial light - not what you'd expect for a £30 + garment. I guess it's the way of the world now that football gear is massively overpriced for the product in question, irrespective of manufacturer. The only quality sports gear manufacturer these days is Canterbury of New Zealand IMHO.

Think it was a yellow effort the year before that.

But we definitely need three this season what with our minimum of two games in te Europa Cup.

was in club shop yesterday. It closes tomorrow for 2 weeks for the new Nike store refit. Opens mid July with new away kit launch, together with new clobber.
Just in time for the hols...... :)

Hibs were superb that night. trakyas was a standout without actually getting on the score sheet.

any confusion as to scorers is understandable though, 3-0 at ibrox was relatively common. :)

Seeing as our keeper is in the 2nd choice goalie top tonight and it's purple, I think we could maybe rule that colour out. Yellow as well for that matter. Black, white or something totally unexpected, just no mar**n

i would like this as i haved said previously. with say purple and white hoops or yellow and purple hoops ( lakers colours ).

i can see the launch slogan now "hibernian : the first to wear hoops" to wind up that smelly bunch in parkhead.
