Nothing surprises me at Newcastle any more.

Just when Ashley seems to be getting the fans back on board he comes up with some rant, renaming of stadium, mental appointment, player sale/purchase that gets the fans backs up again.

Bloody weird that appointment

He's already came out and said that he will oversee all transfers

Wonder what Pardew thinks of all this

He'll be about as welcome at St James' Park as De Canio. Heard his interview on SSN and he likes to blow his own trumpet. Also said that it wasn't his fault that Newcastle got relegated a few seasons ago. Well his record after 26 EPL games in charge before he had his heart attack was 5 wins, 10 draws and 11 defeats. 25 points from a possible 78 points. Granted he wasn't in charge when they were finally relegated but he was a major reason why they ended up in the Championship.

Something smells.

He said in his interview on Sky that he will sit down with Pardew over lunch tomorrow or in the next week provided that he (AP) is not on holiday. Handbags I reckon. The waiters better give them plastic wine glasses.

"That was a load of rubbish. I've never been a manager of a club that's been relegated [Luton were relegated while he was in charge in 2001].""

To be fair to the BBC... That made me chuckle !

He was on Talksport earlier making some crazy claims!!

Still no word from Newcastle on this right enough!

Strange one this. Totally undermines Pardew in my opinion. They tried this before with Dennis Wise and that turned out to be a nightmare. Looks like Pardews days are numbered

Doesn't he still have 6 odd years on his Contract left ? That'll be some pay off !

Heard on Talksport yesterday that there is a 1 year clause in the contract, so only that would be paid off.

He is getting tattered on SSN for mispronouncing players names, talking about players he brought to the club who were there a couple of years before he got the job, nothing confirmed by the club either, its all very strange!

Kinnear was employed by NUFC in 2008/09.

He said that he had signed Tim Krul.

Krul was on loan to Falkirk from Newcastle in 2007.
