Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend a decent framer i am looking to get a Leigh Griffiths signature shirt framed. What are the rough costs and who is decent around Edinburgh.

Noticed a guy on eBay does it for 39.99. He says a lot of tops get damaged when this process is done he guarantees 100% no damage with his method looks the parts you'll find it if u search eBay

Buy a big picture frame and do it yourself. Plenty online picture frames available.

I have used them too and they were excellent. There is also another one in EC but i dont know the name of it. I believe its a bit cheaper. Its near the top of Langton road at the farm.

There used to be a place in brunswick street next to the vittoria that did framing, I'm not sure its still there though.

I think that used to belong to Tam Wright, (HHT Fame), but is no longer there.

The correct method is to stitch them to the backing there is a high quality skilled way of doing this many places use double sided tape which is shocking and the other Classic is pinning the shirt and unless the pins are stainless steel they rust and stain the shirt, these are things you wouldn't know till you unframed it 10-20 years down the line.
Also the glass should never touch the shirt

Yes I know how it's done properly, guess I assumed with anything so valuable as a shirt you would want framed that you would get it done properly anyway. Everything I have is so valuable to me that I would never let any idiot touch any of it. :greengrin

Yes I know how it's done properly, guess I assumed with anything so valuable as a shirt you would want framed that you would get it done properly anyway. Everything I have is so valuable to me that I would never let any idiot touch any of it. :greengrin

Another option is a pre bought hinged box frame that comes with a hanger in it can't recall the make of them but about 60-80 quid, the advantage of which is if the mrs only allows you a couple of frames shirts you can change it easily
