How to enter - please read everything:
All you have to do is post, on this thread, who you think the first Scotland goalscorer will be when Scotland play Croatia, at Stadion Maksimir, in the World Cup qualifier on Friday, June 7th. You must also add a time in whole minutes (1-90) to your selected player and this goal time will act as a tie-breaker.
:rules:
Own goals of any kind do NOT count. It's the first Scotland player to score for Scotland we're looking for. If the first goal is an OG the competition is still live and will remain live until a competition-qualifying goal is scored.
Guesses such as 45+2 or 94 won't count. 45 or 90 will include any time added on at the end of either half.
Scorer & time will be taken from the BBC Sport website.
Make sure no-one else has already taken your player + time selection because, if two or more people select an identical combination, the earliest one posted will be counted.
In the event of 2 guesses being the same amount of time either side of the actual figure, the lower time will win.
If you happen to inadvertently take two or more different guesses, we'll take your first answer.
One entry per person per post.
We won't be accepting any 'if that time is taken, give me the next minute up or down' (or similar) entries. We'll take your first answer.
If no player scores by the end of 90 minutes play or there are only own goals or no-one selects the first scorer, the prize is held over for another time.
...Our decision is final.
It's a 7:15pm kick off on Friday, June 7th. Please get your entry in before the match kicks-off, otherwise it will be ignored.
