How to enter - please read everything:
All you have to do is post, on this thread, who you think the first Hibernian goalscorer will be when we play Celtc, at Hampden Park, in the upcoming Scottish Cup Final on Sunday, May 26th. You must also add a time in whole minutes (1-120) to your selected player and this goal time will act as a tie-breaker.
:rules:
...One entry per registered member per post. We won't be accepting any 'if that time is taken, give me the next minute up or down' (or similar) entries. We'll take your first answer.
...If you happen to inadvertently make two or more different guesses, we'll take your first answer.
...Own goals of any sort - even for Hibs - do not count for the purposes of this competition. It is the first Hibs player to score for Hibs we're looking for. If Hibs' only goal is officially deemed to be an own goal, the prize will be held over.
...Guesses such as 45+2 or 94 or 123 won't count. 45 or 90 will include any time added on at the end of either half or 120 in extra time.
...Scorer and time will be taken from the official Hibs site.
...Should there be any doubt as to who scores, we will double check with the club.
...In the case of any duplicate correct guess being made, the winner will be the earliest correct/nearest guess posted.
...In the event of 2 guesses being the same amount of time either side of the actual figure, the lower time will win.
...Shoot-out penalties do not count. This competition closes at the full time whistle, whether that is after 90 minutes or 120 minutes.
...Our decision is final.
...Make sure no-one else has already taken your player + time selection because, if two or more people select an identical combination, the earliest one posted will be counted.
...If no player scores by the end of 120 minutes or there are only own goals or no-one selects the first scorer, the prize is held over for another time.
It's a 3pm kick off on Sunday, May 26th. Please get your entry in before the match kicks-off, otherwise it will be ignored.
There have been several wasted entries in previous competitions when people chose players & times already selected so please check before posting your guess... especially if you're choosing Griffiths :wink:
