Looks like Sheffield United have made an approach for McCall, think Motherwell will be significantly weakened for next season if they lose him, Higdon and a few others who are out of contract.

ah well (no pun) the merrygoround has started. the Englishman has done extremely well(no pun again) at 'Well. but their fans will be gutted if he goes to pastures new next season. I do agree that MFC will be weakened in a sense, if they loose him and the fact that the likes of Higdon , can walk too. never mind we always have a group of young starlets in gorgie to compete with next season. seriously though, Scotland can ill afford to loose one of our top managers at this time.

Motherwell will just replace him with another amazing manager from nowhere - who also has a talent for recruiting similarly elusive top quality players. They have a remarkable talent for it.

Their last four managers have been poached away from them and then went on to fail elsewhere.
Could be that they have got everything right in the running of the club and all they need is a capable coach?
