Right, we are now on the 1 week countdown to the big day. Don't know about you but I can't think about anything else but this final! It's great to be a hibee right now, our horrible neighbours are in turmoil and sliding fast down the slippery slope whilst we get set to enjoy yet another cup final and another great day out to Hampden! Who'd have thought it after last May eh!

The feel good factor is back at Easter Road so lets make this week a fantastic build up to the final, forget all the 5-1 guff from that bunch, we have real, here and now things to get excited over. Heres a wee video, from a very special day, that I thought I would share to remind everyone what a special football club we have and just what the club means to us supporters.

Any news on what the team are doing all week? Going away somewhere or staying home to mingle with fans etc and train at EM?

Will be quite nice I reckon for the players to stay in Edinburgh this year and get to absorb a bit of the cup final build up. Obviously I don't want them to be distracted from their preparations or anything like that but will be nice for them to enjoy this week with the fans aswell.

Who's making the final programme again? I want to order one.

Important for the players to prepare well for the game but they should also enjoy the build up and go into it having no fear. I saw that Jordon Forster just tweeted he's just finished an early morning gym session! That's dedication!

That boys in shape! Some other players could learn from him.

Sorry if I've missed something on another thread but are the final programes available to be ordered like last year? If so how do I go about doing that?

Gonna be a loooong week indeed, hopefully get a few extra shifts at work to keep myself busy. Got sunshine on leith/500 miles/glory glory to the hibees/turnballs tornadoes etc etc on the CD in the car so its been blasting all week (my jambo neighbours just about know all the words now :greengrin!)

I like that it's a good response to any jambo trying to noise us up

I'm off tomorrow, so only have a 4 day week. But at the same time, my excitement is going to make it one very long week waiting for Sunday.

Working from last night straight through till Saturday night, so at least I'll have something to take my mind off it. Hopefully anyway

I am on a 4-day week as well. Taking Friday off to get ready for the trip.

Trying to stay calm until then!

Does anyone know if you are able to get to east mains to meet the players after training?Might have been a good idea to have the team train at ER on the Thursday and allow the fans in

Looking forward to it, always enjoy the build up and anticipation.

Working Tuesday until Saturday 4pm then a night in the 4 in Hand, alcohol sleep then hungover jaunt to Hampden. Few rounds of golf in the evening to pass the time and take my mind of it.
