OK, in this pre-final week, I would just like to post a little song dedicated to all my fellow Hi-bees which in my opinion says a little something about what we all wish for.....

Sir, despite everything that has happened in the almost 50 years since I began my love affair with Hibernian FC, one retains a smidgin of optimism - tempered with a ton of realism.

That's why I titled the thread as I did.

The power of dreams is powerful and we all wish for our dreams to come true. I hope that this will be our year to again win the Scottish Cup.:wink:

That's why I titled the thread as I did.

Celtic are the fancied team to beat us and they know it. The bookies have made them odds on and bookies win in the long run. However the cup goes against the long run and the underdog wins probably more than they should. They say faith can move mountains. Let's hope that this year we will be fortunate to win the Scottish Cup and enjoy the day at Hampden.
