Not yet mate, I think it said on the email they sent to expect it to be two working days after the sale before they were sent...so I think the will have been posted either yesterday or maybe today.
So hopefully they will arrive today/tomorrow...?
maybe... :greengrin

Can anyone give some advice as to the best solution here, my girlfriend bought 6 £35 tickets from season ticket books but they've never arrived although were sent out on the 3rd :boo hoo:

Hibs ticket office say "not our problem, contact the Post Office" But surely they have an obligation to make sure we get what we've paid for.

This is driving us all nuts, and my girlfiend's in bits :fuming:

Did you ask for normal delivery or special? If normal, i would say wait till tomorrow as not sent until yesterday.

Surely the ticket office can ID the section and seat numbers. Then if a "theft" has been suspected, it can be reported to Hampden and/or SFA as organisers of the final. Police can be involved and see who turns up in your seats. Might not help you for the 26th though.

Special delivery.

My old man worked for the old GPO so he used to tell me tall tales of thefts from the mail system and sackings etc (sorry if this insults any current Royal Mail employees, but that's just the way it is), so I paid the extra for Special Delivery. I have an email with the ticket confirmation, seat number etc so I'm a bit relaxed for now, but I might start worrying if it doesn't appear tomorrow.

Mines were lost in 2001 and i got a call about 3 days before saying they had been sent to a mates uncles house. my mate is a jambo and he uncle had phoned him to laugh that Hibs tickets had been sent out wrongly. He recognised the name and brought them to my house. Not a bad lad for one of them.

If you have bought them by credit card then phone up and explain and you should get your money back. i know it wont get your tickets back but the 210 quid is a start.

:agree::agree: Thought the same.

Do all grounds not have the efficient scanner which Hibs have? That way they can reprint and the people who have the original tickets will not be let in.

Sore one but unless you took out special d it's not the clubs fault and their not obliged to do anything. I'd check my local sorting office and if they've nothing I'd play nice with the club (No need to p anyone off if your looking for their help) and hope they can do you a favour. Not sure what though as not like they can cancel the original tickets as they don't get scanned.

I hate this kind of post but I always pay special delivery.

It's a kicker paying £6.50 extra, but over say 6 tickets that's a pound per person. Then if they do go missing you are protected.

Not helping you now and I hope that they turn up.

Lessons learnt for everyone, especially something as important as a Cup Final.

I ordered tickets for a festival event weeks in advance. They were posted out the day after I ordered them but only arrived the day after the event. They might just take a while so don't lose hope.

I'm gutted for you though and it's not nice. If it's any consolation, you should be pretty high up in people's thoughts when it comes to spares.

You should be able to get them reprinted and the last lot cancelled mate. I lost tickets a few seasons back for a derby at Tynie and had to stroll into the hearts shop with my hibs top on and get them to reissue the tickets which they did no problem.

Find out what seats were allocated to you and then call hampden directly. You will prob have to collect them on the day with id but that's better than no tickets.

Good luck mate

I had a similar issue with tickets for the Chelsea-Manchester City semi-final at Wembley. I telephoned through to the City ticket office. They cancelled the tickets and issued new ones which I picked up at Wembley before the match.

Personally I never have Hibs tickets delivered by post. I always collect.

I know it's got nothing to do with Hibs, but this happened to me with Scotland tickets v France at Hampden a while back. We were able to get tickets reissued, so they must have something in place at the SFA/Hampden to allow them to do this.

Don't think that is true.

In distance selling legislation I'm pretty sure it's up to the seller to make sure the buyer gets what they paid for.

Why should the buyer suffer because the seller uses unreliable suppliers?

Special delivery is 'guaranteed' to be there by 1pm next day. You can apply for compensation/refund if they are not. I paid the extra and it has not arrived. I have emailed Hibs asking for date of posting. Copy receipt will also be required to claim. This receipt will also have the tracking number so you can check on the PO website what they say has happened to it.

But the seller is using a reliable supplier - Special Delivery. People are choosing to use the unreliable version - First Class.

Don't think that matters.

The seller is offering that servive, it is still their responsibility to make sure everything arrives.
