Like it is still going to happen or something? It is almost like they are so proud of the application and demonstration that they put togethere that they just haven't had the heart to take it down. Love the section entitled "Now that's an application". Creaming over the fact that they submitted a shed load of paperwork for something that was never going to happen.

The whole thing is titled "Tynecastle 2010". This was obviously the target for completion. I'd say the project was doomed from the off.

It was never going to happen but you would think even the biggest believer would have taken this down a couple of years ago.

Further proof that they are deluded beyond belief...

"The thought of a capacity 23,000 fans is one that makes us all realise that Hearts is on the way up."

EDIT: Just read that through.. That was taken direct from the hearts website.. How many mistakes can you spot? :greengrin

According to the timeline (http://www.heartsfc.co.uk/articles/20070820/timeline_2241749_1091729), this was completed in 2011

What did everybody think of the new megastand at the derby on Sunday?

I thought it was nice how they respected Archibald Leitch's memory by making it completely the same as the old one :greengrin

New stand is so cool they arrested some guys who had lit flares at the Hibs game they didnt wish the new stand to be damaged (see burned down), How that place gets a safety certificate is beyond me.
Oh aye, I am surprised that Hibs let any of their staff in that stand, health and safety first.(asbestos and firerisk) Mind you we wont have to worry about that in the near future, after Lidl build a supermarket on it.

I loved the pinkish tinge in 80% of the seats and the all round good feelings of staying in the hotel in the main stand. Really made my weekend 10/10 :aok:

It's a bit complex.

Such a shame they didn't have it ready for the Champions League campaign of 2012. Hiring the Bernebau, and subsidising coaches from the Orwell Lodge, surely played havoc with their finances.

And yet, it looks so modern in a strange way.

To be fair, most had been saving their money for the CL final at Wembley, and the bus convened couldn't get it back in time.

Eh??

They really do deserve all that is coming to them. They're beyond deluded from top to bottom.
