Cant help but I'd imagine that nobody would have a problem shifting up a seat to allow you to sit with your boy.

Thanks to the posters on Hibs.net. I tried via the website and got the message to ring the ticket office. Did that and got the message that there were none left. Checked .net and took the advice to keep trying on the website and next go, got on in North C4 row S. More than pleased with that.

Thanks folks. I would have given up if I hadn't read the other thread.

I seem to remember all Hampden tickets showing as restricted view, it's because of the distance from some parts of the pitch rather than any obstructions. Your seats should actually be pretty decent.

For a viewing perspective they're the best you'll get in the 'cheap' seats.

You clearly didnt read the guys post. He has 2 tickets, both in the same row but about 4 seats apart. I suggested that if the person next to him moves into his seat, then effectively the next 3 shift up 1 and he can sit beside his son.

The two previous raffles have hardly had massive turn outs. Plus after seasons being allowed two and the public sale a lot will be sorted, 500 pairs is a decent number up for grabs

They were sold out at 12:45 mate. I dont know how but after Hibs announced it was sold out some people manager to get a couple of single tickets(not me:boo hoo:) so obviously Hibs have messed up somewhere. I hope they havent put the tickets put aside for the game on Saturday on sale by mistake.

:hmmm: they possibly have a certain amount to sell online and online only, but the guy in shop certainly never mentioned that route

Started queuing at 11:50am, got into the system by about 12:05 or 12:10. Then panicked and proceeded to get the first seats I could find even though I suspect there was still a few at that point.

Ended up in A4 row EEE - am I right in thinking thats quite far back? Is it also in the family section? - not going with kids or anything but dont think really mind tbh as had a right couple of idiots in front of us a semi.

Hope all the folk that missed out will be successful for the ballot on Saturday. I'd imagine they stand a decent chance.

Out of interest, does anyone know how many tickets were available today? I'm curious to find out how many were left after ST holders had their chance.

I'd have to say that's the 2nd year in a row now I've gone down the general sale route and managed to get tickets both times. Dont know if its luck or what but I'm delighted!

Thanks for sharing :hilarious

For those that missed out, I feel really sorry for them. This is what comes of having an absolute tinpot national stadium. We could have sold 5,000 more tickets, probably more, easy. Celtc could have sold 40,000. Easy.

Yet both supports are shoehorned into what is - after debentures and the old boys club at the SFA take their share - about a 45,000 seater stadium.

In comparison to the cup final down here, we get a much higher percentage allocated to each club at Hampden!

I was really lucky, today. Was on the phone on my way home from work. Engaged. Then received a text from a mate saying 'sell out'. Got home and logged in at about 1:15pm and withing 5 seconds of clicking the sections, 2 came up and asked for my details. Was expecting the website to be in meltdown. Hope everyone sorts some out one way or another!

The corporate caters for roughly 15,000 in the middle tier....that still leaves approximately another 25,000 tickets that DON'T go to the competing clubs!

I know. My point wasn't that the SFA/blazers et al take very too many seats, more that the stadium is a dump and too small full stop.

That said, it is our dump and I will probably try to get my end away with the hinge of my seat if we win on the 26th.

Don't think you'll find anyone disagreeing with that.

You will however find a LOT of people disagreeing with that. Especially if they're on the row behind. Double teaming row HH seat 161 is never going to be anyone's proudest moment.
