I said last week to a mate "He's the best striker in the SPL" and he laughed at me and said "What about Higdon".

I need to find mates that aren't idiots.

Well done sparky. Deserved it thoroughly.

Seriously don't think there is a more talented player in the SPL just now and he's the best striker I've seen at hibs in my lifetime. Exceptional

This! There were a few crackers just before my time but nothing like Sparky since.

The boy has it all and will get better what is quite scary to think about.

Luke Shanley says it was Carey of st mirren (vs Hearts). IIRC it was a raker from 30 odd yards.

Well done LG, no competition, best in the SPL by a distance.

His agent must be thrilled, just added plenty to LG's value. There will be loads of clubs after him, and who could blame them. Doesn't it just feel weird that there's no speculation linking him with Celtic or the other cheek ? Been happening for decades with EVERY decent player we've had... just weird.

Lennon said he wouldn't make his first team. Fair enough ands I don't see Griffiths going there to make up the numbers. I think he'll end up in the Championship.

Was watching the news at work and Griffiths goal at the PBS came on. Said to colleague he does that every week... He turned to me and said.... If he did then he wouldn't be at Hibs..... Didn't believe me.

He doesn't watch scottish football and is a Man Citeh fan. Nuff said

He said tonight is absolutely dying to stay up here, even more after that win yesterday saying that he'd love to keep the derby record going. He said Hibs are doing their best to make it happen but there's just a bit of uncertainty about the Wolves situation.

IMHO The fact that he wants to stay makes it a ton more likely that he will. We wait in hope.

He is happy in Edinburgh.

His family / families are in Edinburgh.

He is a god here right now with the club and it's a feeling he is loving and on the pitch is getting better every week.

He wants to stay - he won't won't to play Div 1 - He will either mutually terminate his contract or sign a contract with us at the end of season / or at worst in January.

An unhappy player is no use to wolves - especially when they are struggling with money.

Make it happen RP - it will be worth it and you could make about 5 million from the guy if he keeps improving :agree:

Saying that if he wins us the Scottish Cup then he can retire and he can leave if he wants :greengrin Nah lets keep him to keep scoring against the yams.
