Massive cost cutting or expected departures?

Don't see any from the list that would improve us.

Wouldn't mind Isaac Osbourne, thought he was really good in the cup game at ER

He's the *****r one of the two. The other one was a joker so we'll pass on that. :agree:

Just a brute imo, like much of Aberdeen's team this year.

:agree: but might have given the yams an entire squad for next to nothing if they didn't already have the golden generation :trumpet:

Id take Fallon as a replacement for Kuqi (an absolute animal but also i would imagine a nightmare to deal with) and if im honest if we were not so well off for midfielders id take Rae too

So much for Paw Broon's 'legacy'.

This.

McInnes has emptied all but one of the players that were out of contract and has told two who have contracts to bugger off.

sorry coco but i'd be disgusted if hibs signed rory fallon, one of the worst players in a terrible terrible league and a grade a fud to boot. it shows the kind of luck we had last season that the only decent goal he's scored for the dons and i dont doubt the best goal he'll ever score in his career was the absolute raker against us at hampden last season. he could try that another 99 times and have more chance of knocking a pie out of someones hand in the north stand than putting it in the postage stamp again. that he may be more useful than kuqi is faint praise indeed.

Not a decent, exciting one amongst them. I'm glad the SPL is clearing out journeymen dross who can 'do a job'.

I'd rather see smaller squads with exciting new talents bloodied and a few really decent players on bigger wages.

Definitely the way to go for Scottish football.

Thomson, Taiwo and Claros are all better than Rae.

Rae was good at Cardiff. I had a season ticket there for years before I moved here. Doesn't seem to have done a lot when I've seen him for the dons though. Getting older as well so doubt he'll improve any time soon.

I'm surprised rae and hughes have been freed but they dont seem to have done too well this season, i thought aberdeen had a decent midfield on paper at the start of the season but those two and hayes haven't performed anywhere near as well as expected.

How is that young winger who went down south doing? Cant even remember his name now. Went to Bournemouth?

Ryan Fraser, not sure how he's getting on, but his team got promoted to the Championship. Noticed Fraser Fyffie was an unused sub for Wigan at the weekend

Thats the one. Looked a right good player as did Fyffie.

Both went for money, like Scott Allan at Dundee Utd. It's more important at a young age to get regular game time

Scott Allan is an exellent player who got greedy too early. Looked exceptional whenever I've watch scotland u21s. Is it not Fyvie?
