Thought that we played well pretty much throughout the game today with Jorge Claros once again MOTM for me!

Kevin Thomson and Tom Taiwo held the midfield really well whilst Alex Harris and Leigh Griffiths particularly always looked as though they could do the unexpected necessary to create a goalscoring opportunity! Leigh of course took his free kick brilliantly and young Ross Caldwell showed great composure in taking his chance to score the winner!

Defensively we didn't really give up too many goalscoring opportunities and Jordan Foster looked as though he had played CH in the SPL for some time. Good pacy physical lad who has certainly given a good account of himself today as did the other back four players! Big Ben needs to do better at set pieces with high balls floated or fired in and I'm sure he'll be working on that over the next couple of weeks as Celtc will not be shy at testing him in that area in the Cup Final!

All in all, a good performance worthy of three points and an undefeated season against them as well as dumping them out of the SC whilst they were cup holders!

Excellent stuff! :agree:

The goals summed up the the difference between Hibs and the Gorgie Mob. Theirs a scrappy, flukey, ugly hack from a centre half swinging a leg whilst on his arse.

Ours two pinpoint wonder strikes any neutral would applaud.
