Not sure if this (or a similar story) has already been posted, but for those worrying about where there seats are, last year me, my dad and my 2 brothers got 4 tickets, 2 sets of 2 and the seats we were given on the tickets were completely different to the ones which were quoted when we bought originally. They were meant to be quite far apart but ended up being 4 seats together.

Hopefully something similar happens this year as just went through the same process

Thats 5 ST's, 3 renewing + (friends (me)), two buying this season and two in the public sale. 10 tickets in total sorted over the weeks.

I selected the area I wanted next to the amount of tickets needed. Then I selected the area I wanted underneath (where it says best available).

That's when it let me in to complete my checkout.

I don't think fans can say this is a disgrace etc - everyone has known for years the best way to secure a ticket for the big games is a ST.

Then the club have had other ways / memberships of getting tickets - add to that like concerts for popular bands - sometimes demand outweighs supply.

I have wanted to go see several bands before but not been lucky / quick enough online via phone -but I've dealt with it - I know fans love to have a go at the club at any opportunity though :na na:

Well that was very weird, logged in since 11.30 and nothing, kept getting the "none available....." - thought I would try 1 more time before I binned it and I got a single in Q6 then I went in and got another single. Perhaps for you. From what I had seen it wasn't posted, but it was only my second comment on the thread (both today) and I haven't got the time to read this thread, and every comment of every other thread.

End of the day it got a reaction, perhaps not the intended one, but it irked you. If it's boring to you, do what most other people do with stuff they aren't interested in, ignore it.

I think that that is what they had planned to do but maybe they have made a mistake and forgotten to close off the sale of the section for ballot. I dont see any other reason for a few tickets to be sold after it had sold out.

Got the reason mate(shamlessly stolen from the Bounce) Apparently someone phoned ticketmaster and the lass on the phone said that the reason of some people being able to buy a few tickets after being sold out are because people who have had tickets in their basket and not paid for them, so after a set time the tickets get re-released, that would explain the periodic release of some of the tickets?

Thing is, sites like these have been running for years and not just for our cup finals. Not that I'm sticking up for them but how come it's illegal for joe average to sell tickets but places like them have been doing it for years :confused:.

I don't know mate but questions have been asked of the big companies, like Ticketmaster, who actually run these touting sites. For things like rock concerts it isn't illegal.

Ticketmaster sell rolling stones tickets charging a hefty booking fee and sell out within minutes. Ten minutes later, hundreds of stones tickets appear on a Ticketmaster sister site offering the same tickets for vastly inflated prices. Ticketmaster take a large cut off all the proceeds from the inflated ticket sales on their touting site.

I notice that some of these touting sites have categories open for Scottish cup final tickets. They're getting too cocky and sites like "get me in" and this football ticket site need clamped down on if what they are doing is illegal. If it isn't then something needs changing to make it so.

It's becoming a way to make a living.

Pretty decent odds if the walk up crowd is normally 1-1.5k and many of these will probably already have a ticket from STs or general sale.
