Quite right, only Sect43 are allowed to drum. They set the rules by which the rest of must abide.

On what evidence do you bass us only needing one drummer? Just grow a thicker skin and get planning.for when we play the toms in a couple of weeks. It's like the pot calling the kettle black, steel yourself and accept drumming has become a cymbal of being a Hibs fan.

That's right a 'hillarious' pun thread!

What like there's two?

With drumming I think it's about striking (no pun intended) the balance.
I think the original drummer gets it spot on for me.
btw massive respect for the drummer at the semi (I presume there was some kinda shift system?)
Looked like one shift worker had given all the energy to the task at hand!

Not sure you're getting what he's meaning. I'm not there tonight but can imagine exactly what its like. It'll be someone banging a drum non-stop, loud like they're going out of fashion and without any singing .....which i'm sure nobody wants at ER.

Can we get an accordian player? There is an old guy on Porty prom, i might bring him along to the final using one of my spare tickets. :greengrin

They should have a drum off at half time vs Dundee.... a bit like a dance off but with drums instead. Winner rules the terracing.

BTW who are the "MYB" and the "Edinburgh City Ultras". Sound like a couple of 1980s street gangs. Splitters from Section 43? Only a matter of time before theres a "Real Section 43".

We need to have a drum off, the winner gets to be the official drummer while the loser has to polish his drum

My years of being a drummer means that I am looking at bringing in a full kit. I already purchased enough season tickets for my new drum kit I have bought. I hope Section 43 are ready for a drum off.

Also these extra season tickets means that I am able to bring the gerbils and hamsters I'm buying at the weekend to the cup final. I hope they enjoy the views from the North Stand in the seats everyone wanted but couldn't get. :greengrin

Similar to the infamous "FYI" and "IMHO"; they are all notorious for dropping in on conversations with their two cents worth :greengrin

The MYB would like to stress that we hold no affiliation with the BTW, FYI or IMHO. :agree:

Where does Sect43 stand on loud clappers? Going to the derby with a guy who has a really loud clap. It really could put the players and fans out of rhythm. Should I advise him not to go or maybe buy him some gloves?

I think that naming a fan/ultra group with a "Young Boys" suffix will result in people misinterpreting what the group is 'all about'.

I think it is nearly impossible for anyone (including ourselves) to correctly interpret what we are 'all about'. :greengrin

However, to put your mind at rest, our mean age is 21 with a male to female ratio of 5:1. The "Young Boys" is irrelevant in terms of membership criteria :agree:

It does sound a bit like a name for a group of football casuals though; something I wouldn't have thought that anyone would want to associate with themselves if avoidable.

Anyway, who cares, we won at the pink bus shelter today!
