i know something will be done at rugby park the next game but what about a 54th minute applause at the derby in sunday to show our respect for the killie fan?

Na. With all respect to the guy and his family there's no point in a bunch of random football fans who hate each other, applauding him. I can understand if fans at the replayed match with us and Killie want to do this but it just isn't going to happen in an edinburgh derby.

Dont see a problem with fans doing it at the killie re-arranged game??

Call me old-fashioned, but wouldn't a minute's silence at the Killie game be better?

The Yams on Sunday will no doubt applaud at 51 mins so we should give it back in the 62nd and the 70th :)

I'm sure it was 51 minutes that play was halted.

Nuff said.

I don't get how some poor guy dropping dead at a football match equates to a minutes applause. He wasn't a footballer, or an entertainer. A round of applause is in no way suitable for the average guy in the street. A uniformly respected minutes silence at the start of the match is far more suitable.

With respect to the man involved, we will end up applauding right through every game at this rate. Anyway, the manky mob wouldn't understand and would boo it, assuming it was something to do with us. If it is to be done, it should be at Rugby Park.

Every untimely death is a tragedy you can't make distinctions. Maybe there needs to be clearer guidelines. I think the right time if any to pay respects would be in the return fixture where it has more relevance.
