It seems that very little is certain regarding our line up, but does anyone have the magic 8 ball prediction for this Sunday?

Mine says 'ask again later'.

The usual that happens over there - they go a goal in front in a terrible first half where they get their breakthrough and we do nothing, in the second half we almost score but it doesn't go in and they get a late goal to finish us off.

Or, a Mixu-esque 1-0 with the reserve team.

They will come flying out the gates, we won't start playing till the 2nd half, 2 - 1 the saviles

We cross the halfway line about three times in the whole match.

After playing a few nice passes at the back, we lump balls up to an isolated Griffiths.

Clancy will look tired.

A rip-roaring 0-0 draw.

It'll be a crap game and the referee will have a shocker.

Regardless of what team we put out I think we'll get beat in this one. Hearts will be up for this and they might also be playing for their spl survival. We've been pish lately and the chances of that changing at tynecastle are slim to none. Think they'll beat us by 2 goals

Worried too many Hibs players may be going into this game with the same misguided mindset as some fans on here that says "doesn't matter if we get beat here, or even all the last few games in the league, because we're in the cup final" - with an attitude like that we have no chance, neither against Hearts nor against Celtic. We should be putting out our "strongest team", highly motivated with the intention of winning this game - and using it as a springboard to going on to winning the cup ... personally though, I don't expect us to win any games in the bottom six and having failed to do that I can't see how we can then win the cup - Still, you never know ... upsets happen, I guess

Its Hearts. They have been rotten all season. Fancy us to win 1-0

0-7 Harris and Griffiths hattricks and a McPake header :greengrin

The usual potent concoction of eye-bleeding hoofball, below-par performances from key players, refereeing mistakes and sheer terror.

2 nil Hibs, it's the kind of derby we'll win. Can't buy a victory there when we're chasing Europe etc so we'll probably sneak this.

I can actually see some goals in this one for once. The stakes aren't as high as normal and I reckon the players on show might play with a bit more freedom. Given that they appear to have a bit of confidence about them and we're likely to play a weakened team, I'll go for 3-1 Yams.

This is their cup final, they'll be right up for it, we'll have one eye on the final, they'll win.

They will be soiling themselves in excitement at playing the well-run classy cup finalists and suffer stage fright. 7-0 hibs.

Hammer them 1-0 like we did in December :greengrin

Scrappy, ugly 0-1 for Hibs.

I'm going for a Hearts going bust, we're no deid and in the cup final and Europe party and fully intend to enjoy myself regardless.

Are you suggesting we'll party no matter the result?

1-1.

Stevenson to score early on for them with Harris equalising early in the second half

yeezus.

1-1 they will come out all guns blazing and take the lead early on but we'll get a late equalizer. Can't be much worse than some of the Edinburgh derby's I've gone to in recent times..

It'll be the worst-quality football in a derby this season. So long as the Hibs team wear Iron Man outfits we will probably leave EH11 without any injury problems.

If that happens I'll be visiting Jamboak kickback to read their agitated posts.

Although to be fair, there are a couple of decent Yams - one actually shook my hand and said "well done mate". I thought he was gonna smack me at first :paranoid:

Kuqi and Doyle to score :aok:

Got an extremely weird feeling about this one. Can't see us going to Tynie and winning by more than the odd goal in my eyes, so I think we'll win 1-0 or 2-1 but somewhere in my head it is telling me 3-1 to them. Hope not but it's all up to the lads on the day.

A rather dour first half followed by half time entertainment which consists of stuart hall chuckling away as gary glitter and jimmy tarbuck both struggle to fill a water container whilst skiing down a slippery slope with a blindfold on and an ostrich under each arm.

Its the hearts way :greengrin

A Hibs win. Any will do. A deflected shot off Andy websters arse from 40 yards would be my preference though...closely followed by 0-7
