I'd disagree if I'm in front of the same people.

Any word on the display? Don't want to be in the middle of it as bought a big Honduras flag and want to hold that instead of a piece of card.

Was the display not gonna be every section?

I dunno, is it? Just don't think my big blue flag will look good if it's right in the middle of it.

If you were at the semi-final, you'll know that it's irrelevant where you sit. The atmophere in the East Stand was amazing.

The bloody flag is bigger than I though and looks like it could be at least a 2/3 man job . So no chance I'll be doing both.

Family stand for the final is section A sections 1-3. Anyone with kids who's not in here should except that it's a cup final, folk will stand and maybe use the odd f word here or there.

I think it's Sections A1 - A5 according to online booking. I've just bought 4 adult & 4 kids for A4, row SS.

Sections A2 & A3 may have already sold out as they're not shown on the list of available sections.

Only the 'f' word? I was in the East and used the big C word multiple times and my friend said he had never seen me so angry. Nobody complained as I wasn't standing up I think, but if someone asked me to stop I doubt I could have although I would have tried, I was stressed out to the max. The empty seat in front of me took a battering every time we missed a chance. Probably plenty more like me in the stadium, especially so on cup final day.

It was brutal, think you had the right idea mind you after it did happen! They should have the back 15 or so rows for people who want to stand imo, but North is definately the way for the final.

Wow, I was in the East Stand the whole game and had NO problems.

I stood near the back for a while, where everyone else was standing ... no problem.

When I was in my actual seat near the front, where everybody else was sitting down, I decided not to be an Assh*le by insisting on a non-existent right to stand up, therefore blocking everyone else's view ... no problem.

In each location I sang my heart out and thoroughly enjoyed myself, the obvious 30 minutes or so aside.

It's called consideration for other people, maybe you guys could give that a try.

What you on about? We were told to sit down so we did, so that the laddies behind could see. I fully understand that i am just saying i won't be doing it again. Obviously we knew it would be like that, we just prefer to be somewhere we will be able to stand.

BURN THE WITCH!!!

Nah, I agree in principle. Card displays look great for those on telly, and I sometimes think the sub-plot for them is to make us look awesome as a support on telly, to make other fans/commentators go "woah, check out the Hibs fans"

I'm sure a sea of green and white clad supporters, singing their lungs out, is just as impressive/inspiring a sight for the players.

I will probably make a contribution to the display, like I did last year, but will make my mind up on the day whether or not I take part.

As said on another thread, do you really think the players can hear us clapping as they come out?

The crappy pop music will be blarring and there will probably be fireworks going off.

So for me a display of how much this game means to us would get that message to the players a lot better than clapping.

Of course they can! Clapping and cheering when the team appears along with a sea of team colours, there's no better sight or sound.

20,000 odd bits of card it's gonna be the biggest and best display by miles ever attempted by Sect43 and up there with the best seen in Scotland. Well it will be if there isn't gaps everywhere from people not participating.....

Pretty sure participation will be excellent, most folk appreciate the massive effort needed to pull something this big together and will feel obliged to participate even if it's not normally their thing.
