I am wondering if anybody can help me out....I am coming from Ireland for the Cup Final and need a hotel/b&b for the nights of the 25th, 26th and 27th. Does anybody on here own a place offering a room? Do you know somebody who offers a room?

The reason I ask is that I have so far found it near impossible to book a room on the 25th.

Can anybody help?

It would be much appreciated!

(Sorry if this is in the wrong place!)

Thanks!

Tried that myself, main problem is Edinburgh marathon, managed to borrow a mates setee for a couple o nights, suppose when I'm pissed it will b the better option to a hedge,
I was going to get a hotel in Glasgow but the thought of Hibs winning the cup n not being in Edinburgh is beyond thinking about, found 4 star hotels for £50 per night, they are asking £400 per night in Edinburgh.

Try this place near a train station (Livingston South not sure of how regular Sunday service is and they are doing work on line) however there is another train station 10 mins cab away which will get you to Edinburgh in 20 mins or so. Also can get train from Livingston North to Glasgow so an option.

Try the numerous companies that rent out flats in Edinburgh on a short term basis, I believe thats what BH has done.

It's hardly 5 star but the Premier Inn on Newhaven place will cost you £300 for 3 nights. A couple of decent places to eat nearby and not too far away from the Victory celebrations when we win.

We are flying in from cork on the 25th. We have a room for 2 in Haymarket. You can stay with us if your stuck. We might have a 3rd chap going who might be able to split the cost of a room with you also. You should be able to get a hotel handy enough for your other nights

Thanks for all of your help!

I've got a room for the 26th and 27th near to the Commonwealth Swimming Pool. Working on something for the 25th.

Now to try and get a bus to and from the game sorted.

Thanks again.

I'm being serious though . Get up on the day of the final and head straight for the boozer before the game.
