Final score anyone?
Looks like it finished 2-0 to us. (Scorers: Caldwell and Horribine).

If so, another good result for the young 'uns.

I left at 0-2, but Hibs by this stage were taking charge of the game(85-ish mins).

The Hibs second goal was a peach of a shot by Gold (I think), the first came from a simple header after a slip by Vaulks or McGeever giving their no.9 an easy header from about 4 yards. We'd scored in the first half from a free kick, but was disallowed for off-side (probably correctly). We always looked comfortable on the ball, and for long periods were the better side, but we're missing Small up front, although the wee kid Shepherd was decent and never gave up.

Best player on the park was the Hibs no.5 (Forster), best for us were Dale Fulton and Thomas Grant. Decent prospect in the wee right back Higgins, who looked keen to get forward and was pacy enough, although the final ball wasn't that great. Poor game for Vaulks who was a bomb-scare at center back.

All a little bit frantic and disjointed, and to be honest any time we threatened we always looked like making a hash of it. Even the good shot for Hibs second came after a lot of ****ing around in our defence. Other than Grant and Fulton (and possibly McGeever) there's not much there that we could bring forward into the 1st team as it stands.
