Out of the players going out of contract, or loan is expiring, who would you give a contract to?

Yeah felt I had to put Griffiths in the poll because his loan is expiring, not like we have a chance of keeping him anyway

Maybury's number one fan aren't you LioNeil?
The dirty looks you got for suggesting bringing Maybury on against Falkirk

If Hibs win the Scottish Cup; all of the them!
At least those in the squad.

If maybury gets a new deal we might as well shut the curtains and turn off the lights

Im surprised at Spoony getting as many votes, after another (mostly) disappointing season.

Agreed. I dont think he will be at Hibs next season.

He's certainly a frustrating character at times, but I voted for him because the guy undoubtedly has talent - he just needs someone at the club to help him deploy it on a consistent basis...I'd be disappointed if we let him go

So am I young Harris and Handling should be the way forward with gametime plus Paul Cairney are all better options.

Would love to see kuqi and kujabi back in the squad. IMHO they're the most underrated players in our team.

If we win the cup would the prize money cover a fee for Griffiths if we went in for him?

Maybury, Thomson, Claros, McGivern, Griffiths.
Same as this. But I think the 3 loanees will all be away. I hope to be proved wrong but just can't see it. Thomson is probably 50-50. I would hand him a new deal right now but I'm sure he will be keeping his options open as I'm sure he would probably like to have another crack at giving England a go. He definitely has the quality but its just his injury record that is the stumbling block.

It depends on price and alternative options.
I said yes to Deegan, Wotherspoon, Maybury and Murdoch but if any of them are looking for excessive amounts then I wouldn't push the boat out. They are reasonable squad options who are worth keeping on a 1 year extension if they are cheap, and we don't have better options available, imo.

Thomson, Claros, Griffiths & McGivern
Those were my choices as well, although I'm not confident about Claros and very doubtful about getting Griffiths.
As regards Wotherspoon, I reached the point this season where his inconsistency outweighs his good points. It's time for everyone to move on.

:confused:What's happened to this guy?.not even in squad now?..looks like he's past it,if we'd got him 2 yrs ago I think he would have been great for us?.i think he's a decent guy around the place, but he's gone?.finished at high level football..a mistake by pat, hope we bring in a physical centre forward for next season!!!..:agree::pfgwa
