Unknown number of people dead and hundreds injured as an explosion rips through a fertiliser plant near Waco causing a retirement home to collapse.

Seems like an accident rather than anything insidious but horrific scenes - it looked like a mushroom cloud on BBC news this morning!

Saw this on the news last night while looking for more Boston updates. What a mess. Blast felt 50 miles away. Unknown dead. What a tragedy. :(

Given the right conditions, almost any dust could create such an explosion.
