I think it is, but happy to be corrected :greengrin

The SPL games on the weekend of 5th/6th April are the first ones I can see that have a Referee Observer and it's the same for this weekend........

Prior to that I can't see the Observer listed at all. Perhaps the catalogue of missed decisions that have affected Hibs have been noticed by the SFA/SPL/whoever after all, even if they won't acknowledge them

As far as I know there have always been Referee Observers in the stand to check on a referees performance it may be that they are now indicating who they are to make out as if they make any difference. :greengrin

I see Raymond Whyte back on the SPL line for United and Motherwell. Hope he has learnt to run and see at the same time. :greengrin

I thought they'd always had them, Mikey. Otherwise, how could they be rated?

Not sure if it was standard in SPL, but i know for sure it was always in European games, due to me sitting next to Hugh Dallas at a recent Sparta European night, who incidentally is actually a decent bloke, shared a few beers with him in exchange for a few stories :-)
