Try places outside Edinburgh but within commuting distance, Dalkeith, Bonnyrigg, Penicuik etc

There are a few B and B's down leith /holy rood way for about 70 quid mate. Arriving Sun deprt mon if that's any good. Going fast by looks of it

Some crazy prices being quoted even for your average hotel. Can't see any prices being quoted for that new hotel in Gorgie which is owned by a cash strapped Russian. Maybe just a case of popping along and paying cash. No paperwork no questions asked.

Not surprisingly the bus prices are up too. We're looking at £130 extra per bus :rolleyes:

Looks like the weedge now for Saturday, i have spoken to Boltonhibs and if he's not found a stronger bit of rope, we will spend Saturday in Glasgow and travel through to Edinburgh on the Sunday should the unthinkable happen? :greengrin

I'm comming up,but it looks like I could be staying in Glasgow,sat n sun,getting 4* for £50 a night,getting quotes of £250+ for Edinburgh,need to grovelling on FB to some of my old mates,jambos excluded

You don't need a hotel ya dafty. If we lose you'll be driving right back home anyway. If we win you'll be out on the ran dan for 3 days :greengrin
