It looked less than ours. The North was half empty and unless Celtic packed the East it's hard to see how they could have taken more than us just from looking at it. The United end only looked slightly more than the Falkirk one.

Celtic can't lie about what the attendance was for this game so it probably just won't be published.

just cant seem to find the attendance in any online reports from various papers, sellick FC/SFA SC link, i think that game should now be declared null and void...and hibs should now be declared SC winners for season 2012-2013 :flag: :cup:

There was more Celtic fans in the East and the South than we had.

Wouldn't have had that much more than us in the east as I'm sure we only had one section left.

Would have expected a better turn out from the Arabs to be honest ... their team were unlucky, stick on pen turned down .. typical Thomson, the foul probably wasnt far enough outside the box.

As for the self proclaimed greatest fans in the world ....... dont make me laugh. Considering the number of folk who pretend to support them their turn out was shamefull.

Did anyone find out what the attendance was? I can't find it anywhere, just curious. It didn't fill me with much hope looking at the Skysports website when they had the game down as being at Tannadice!!

26,824 for Celtic v Dundee United and 22,268 for our game.

I'm sceptical of their accuracy, and I'm almost tempted to make a FOI request to see what figures the police have. Even if it is accurate, it is still close to being their worst ever Hampden semi final crowd.

You really have to question this when our attendance is wrong! The official attendance at the Hibs/Falkirk match was 22,410.

The Dundee Utd website did say they had 6500 fans - they seemed very proud of this low turnout :dunno:

The figure given on the day was 22,410 it's subsequently been revised. Why it took two days to come up with a figure for the Celtic game is, erm, interesting.

Cheers, is the monies from both games pooled and split 4 ways after SFA take their cut?

It wouldn't surprise me if Celtc get a better deal than the rest!
