When mcpake approached the east stand at the end, at fenlon's urging, he looked a bit reluctant ... was he overcome with emotion - or pissed at the fans?

McPake had a terrible first 45 and looked completely shell-shocked after 30 mins. As captain he was responsible for sorting things out and frankly he failed miserably. His body language throughout the match and his own personal performance was dire - and he knew it. The team managed to pull the game out of the fire, but I'm not sure how much McP had to do with that. IMHO he knew he'd be part of the problem in the first half and just couldn't find it in himself to "celebrate" the win - it was THAT bad. He's a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve, takes his role at Hibs v seriously, and probably feels like he let the fans/club down.

Well he could not have a better chance to make amends on 26 May - Legend status assured.

Thanks for that, really good stuff. It was a very emotional day, a whole gamut of emotions that`s for sure ! Had a great day in the end , completely knackered today. Looking forward to the final now, we have a chance, just do your very best Hibs, that`s all we ever ask.

I watched in the pub in Leith and we all thought the green and white card show when the team came out was awesome.

Almost as good as the come back :flag:

Maybe I'm getting old and YouTube means you can publish any old nonsense but eh? That was brutal.
