Why should Celtc automatically get that end of the ground to be honest. With the new M74 open you would think it would make complete sense for Hibs to the east end of the ground.

Commons couldn't get out of the way of the ball. In any other situation, it wouldn't be handball, as it wasn't deliberate. Ergo, why should it be different if it resulted in a goal?

I think if he moves his arm or hand towards the ball or if his arm is in an "unusual" position (i.e. outstretched/up in the sky) then you could claim it is a foul as there is obviously some intent behind it, but in this case the ball hits him on the arm (and luckily goes into the net) I wouldn't class it as a foul - after all his arm is where it is supposed to be...he can't take it off quickly just so the ball won't hit it, can he? MInd you if this had been against us in the final I would have agreed with you wholeheartedly... :greengrin

Hear what you are saying however he lets it hit his hand rather than getting it out the way. I think that he had the chance to control the ball but let it hit him and it hits his arm which is deliberate to me. Would United have got that goal??
