Just wondering if anyone has any cracking pictures of Easter Road (with the new East). It's my birthday coming up and the wife has came up with a brilliant idea of getting a nice big framed picture of the stadium to sit proudly in our livingroom here in California!

I've went on - Hibernianfcpix, and saw some really good one's there, but there's also a few nice ones in google images. However there aren't many pictures when we've had it packed over the last year a few times, and I was wondering if many anyone had any good pictures that they managed to take themselfs and it's a really good shot of the whole stadium with a good crowd inside?

Thanks! :flag:

I took my camera to the last home game and was stopped by the stewards on the way in as I had it in a bag.

He shouted over his supervisor and I was told that if I used it, I'd be asked to leave the stadium  .... So unfortunately I never got any from the inside !

Doesn't help you though .... Just wanted a moan :greengrin

This is the best one I have taken since the new stand was built but it certainly doesn't take in the whole ground!

pretty petty stuff considering that 99% of the mobile phones in the stadium have the ability to take photos and record live footage.

 What stand are you in?

In the West there is a regular stream throughout the season of tourists using cameras and the stewards never bother them. Happened right in front of me at the last home game too, seems to be so many inconsistencies in the stewarding at ER.

Are all of these your photos? I've just spent a while looking through a good number of them, they are magnificent and not just the Hibs ones. I come from Penicuik and have family in Peebles, so really appreciate the diversity of these shots. I'm going to spend some more time looking through them as they are all brilliant. :top marks:thumbsup:

Cheers, apart from a couple of photos of the ground when the new stand was being built the rest were all taken by myself at various times since reconstruction started. The photos of the first stage of development were all taken on film and scanned.

What a good idea. I wonder if the club has any large prints of Easter road for sale, since I'd like a goog quility print and also to support the club.

Was in the East..... they said it was because it was a DSLR (or 35mm as he called it!) and the photographers track side pay big money to be there and take pics.... but ive seen people with them before....maybe my failing was getting caught with it on the way in ...next time ill wear MC Hammer trousers

If all you want to do is rotate it then open it up in MS Paint. If you are using a version of Windows you should find it in Start/ Programs/ Accessories/ Paint.
Select 'Image' from the top and then 'Flip/ Rotate'.

Put on there and rotated it but when I then try to upload to hibs.net it still turns out the same way.
