They've hardly had any game time this season - Fenlon isn't going to throw them in from the start in a cup semi final. Harris is a different case, he's come in for a few games, performed well and had a couple of starts under his belt now too. Not as much of a gamble.

I think it will be 4-5-1 but if it is 4-4-2 I'd be really surprised to see anybody other than Doyle up front with Griffiths. Despite his (admittedly deserved) criticism on here, he's still scored 8 goals this season and has more experience for a game like this than the others.

With Claros and Thomson midfield, would maybe be tempted to have two up front in Griffiths and Doyle. They have combined well at times this season so could possibly work out, also feel that midfield pairing gives adequate defensive work rate allowing for a more attacking side.

As mentioned before, we need to set up to attack right from the start. None of this throw 10 men behind the ball, sit tight and hope we can get a lucky break up the field to Sparky. By all means be cautious and not just throw everyone forward, we need to keep a strong formation but I would like to see a lot more positivity and attacking creativity from the team.

Claros has been Hibs best player many games this season and likes to run the midfield - he does need a play maker in front of him though and not Deegan who is too similar and not effective enough.

A wee bit controversial I know but 4-5-1 is not working and hasn't really worked very often at all for months. 4-4-2 worked well for us from about the second game of the season until Fenlon changed it (for the Killie game just before Xmas after the Motherwell game at ER when we were 2 up and lost 3-2 I think) but the problem now with 4-4-2 is a lot of the midfield (Wotherspoon, Deegan and Cairney) and one of the front the players (Doyle) who made it work well are badly off form.

I can't think of the players we have who could slot into a 4-4-2 right now so as an alternative to 4-5-1 which has been dire, why not go for it with a 4-3-3.

Yep - has to be this 4-2-3-1 Shape for me. But those three really need to be focused on attacking. Claros and Thomson can provide cover at the back and allow Clancy and McGivern to get forward and support the overlaps. If that team puts in the effort they should be able to put a few goals past Falkirk. BUT if Fenlon sends them out and tells them to suck up pressure we may aswell just go home!
