Does anyone else get annoyed with kick-off's at Hampden being at times like 12:30?
We'll definitely go to the Jinglin Geordie pub in Edinburgh but I loved going to Shettleston through in Glasgow before the game as the atmosphere was always brilliant.
But, anyway it should be another good day out & hopefully a win for the Green and White!

I dont actually care about the time. Hibs are in the semi final of the scottish cup. I'd still be there if it started at 12.30am.

People are only annoyed because they can't get blootered.
The one downside of being involved in semis and finals is it attracts a hell of a lot of drunken morons.

You sound like a great laugh. So some folk like a bevvy before a big game? Get over yourself.

As it goes, kick-off time doesn't even matter, if people want to get tanked up and it's an early kick-off, they start drinking earlier. Simple.

I'd disagree. I think it loses some of the match build up because everyone is up early, jumps on a bus then get to the game.

Plus, if I go out on Friday ill still be up and blootered anyway!

I would guess it's slightly more annoying for those of us traveling from the Depths of England or down from Aberdeen etc, than for those of you missing out on a couple of pints!

I like it. Makes the early flight more bearable as I wont be hanging around Glasgow from 9 to 3 as has become the norm... Also means I can make an 8pm flight home saving me the money of an overnight and dinner etc. Also means I can go out with friends back in Dublin that night.... But that's just me...

Glasgow police want us there and away as early as possible.

I won't sleep much the night before so suits me to get up early away.

I like it as you're back at a better time to continue boozing.

We've got kids so its a great time for a kick off out early and back early! Get kids settled when we get back as they will be hyper! Then can relax with a celebratory drink! Well hopefully 😉

Bit off topic but what's our record like there when playing early?

Bit off topic but what's our record like there when playing early?

Early:
Aberdeen 2012, won
2006 semi

3pm:
Last year.
Livingston 2001, won
Celtic 2001, lost
Dundee Utd 2005, lost
Dunfermline 2007, drew
Kilmarnock 2007, won

Late:
Aberdeen 2000, lost
Dunfermline replay 2007, lost
Ayr 2002, lost

The 50/50 record in the early kick-offs wins it.
