I have a scarf which belonged to my old guy which dates back to the 1950s. It's green (obviously) with thin white lines and has a badge with faded symbols including a ball and crown. Also have a home made banner with st Andrews Cross, harp and castle which I made for 1991 League Cup Final. Anyone else got old, interesting stuff?

Have the Hibs strip from the 1991/2 season, past on to me by my old man.

They don't make them like that anymore.

I've got a scarf which is green, white and black which was given to me on the day of my birth by my late granddad and has come to almost every game with me. Other than that it is football tops worn by players and my granddads match programmes that either I or my dad keep a hold of.

I've got my Dad's scarf he bought in 1964, same year I was born. Bottle green and a 4 quartered shield with a baw, thistle, Harp and Castle IIRC.
Also have my 1972 League Cup flag bought at Hampden and confiscated by my Dad as I was an annoying wee git he says. Framed as part of my memorabilia collection now.

I have a Hibs gnome somewhere in the loft. He's kitted in the Macbean Protective Clothing home kit. Bit random! Sure i got him at a market many moons ago!

Didn't think the ball and crown went as far back as the 50s, I thought it was a Tom Hart invention. My oldest scarf dates back to 1978.

still got my hat from the same game, bit worn now, used to be my lucky hat until that final last year, starting to fall apart a bit mind.

is it a really fine, almost t-shirt like material and a really dark green with sort of fur tassles? If so I have the same one.

A "University-style" (!) striped scarf from about 1971. Mum put it in the washer at too high a heat and it came out a matted thing. Used as cushion filler for a while.

My Centenary scarf covered in badges went everywhere with me for years. One of the few times I have ever got a Joe Baxi from Waverley to the Iona and I left it in the taxi. Hertz geme, I think around '98, Kevin Harper goal won it for us. Still miss it.

My dad bought me my first ever (new) Hibs scarf on the eve of the league cup final of 1968. Dark green with a harp and ball in white. I thought it was the most wonderful thing i had ever held. But......Hampden caught fire and by the time the final was played the following springtime we had sold Colin Stein and lost 6-2. My grandfather(on my mothers side) bought me a maroon thing around the same time. Took me a couple of weeks to get up the courage then swapped it with the rag and bone man for a goldfish.

And the rest is history! I don't think Colin Stein would have saved us that day.
