These clowns must go, looks like Salmond & co are looking to destroy local pubs and clubs who are already dieing out, but also traditional of football fans. Now they want to ban pubs & clubs near Football grounds, these clowns must go. The Independence lies where enough for me, but if they push this through they will be the new Lib Dems.

There is one quote in there from the Govt, and the rest is a specualtive rant from a licencing representative.

Methinks you are jumping the gun somewhat.....

Unionist propaganda from the Herald. No place for this on the footie forum.

You must have read a different article than the one that is on the end of this link then, because it says that the report hasn't been looked at yet? Unless you have got insider information, it looks like the journalist has been trawling and you have been caught??

Nothing to do with the SNP or Independence. Stuff debating the issues, let's accuse the SNP of killing fitba and probably drowning kittens in their spare time as well.

Unionist propaganda from the Herald. No place for this on the footie forum.

It's not Unionist propaganda either. It's rather sinister how the Unionist term and all the baggage it carries in some parts of the West of Scotland term has been grabbed so eagerly to sneeringly describe the No camp.

Over 500 days of nonsense from both sides to endure. Oh joy.

No, no. It's 'a Date with Destiny' remember? It won't be at all completely 5hite from start to finish.

Its surprising, probably not that surprising, how ignorant this reporter is to the formulation of policy and Politics.

Not really surprising at all that people are taken in given the general level of debate they are fed this ignorant, poorly educated media, predominantly lazy reduced to cutting and pasting from elsewhere.

And you bought it.

That's an utterly ludicrous argument IMHO (although it is far from the only one on this thread).

The Scottish government are consulting on proposals to amend an Act. Some lobbyists are saying, in response to that consultation, that certain elements of the proposals go too far. The Herald are reporting that.

What are the similarities to a Daily Mail rant on immigrants?

Obviously the original poster is quite happy with politicians such as IDS coming to Scotland (where they hold no democratic mandate) having made decisions on behalf of people who did not elect them:

IDS is a member of the UK Parliament - elected by the UK electorate - Scotland is a part of the UK - so, I'm not quite sure what makes you think he doesn't have a "democratic mandate"?

All governments make decisions on behalf of some folk who did not elect them. The SNP are still in charge of East Lothian even although we voted for Labour.

No, we never get who we want at Westminster. Ever. Fact. Apart from the 13 years of Labour which we voted for.............but that doesn't count. We don't even get the opposition that we didn't vote for............call that democracy?
