Wonder if AVB is still happy about Bale taking a Commie pool style dive in the first leg?

Who would have thought it. Think even Spurs thought the tie was already won.

Interesting last 12 minutes.

Can't believe it. But credit to Inter for getting the tie back on. Shows you how poor Spurs are without Gareth Bale.

I think this game will be part of a betting fix to be announced in years to come. :-)

If Inter score here this will how the idiocy of the current away goals rule

Inter get 90 minutes yet Spurs get 120. Away goals shouldn't count after extra time.

Should go back to the good old days before away goals and if all square just heads or tails.

Anyway 4-4

Totally agree....if things stay the same it should be going to pen's ludicrous rule for away goals to count in e.t

Indeed I do not see much argument with that it is totally unfair.

Will never forget that sickening feeling when they scored knowing we had to get two.

Totally agree. :agree:

There again it gives the advantage to the team playing at home in the second leg. Allowing them a possible extra 30 minutes to turn things around if they can tie the leg after 90 minutes.

Do away with away goals rule and just go straight to penalties. It's the only fair way.

There again to be completely fair they would have to take the penalties at a neutral ground. :greengrin

Game over.

I'd go even further and suggest they shouldn't count after normal time.

But the fact it has gone into ET means that the home team has already turned it around. They then end up in a situation that allows one team 30 more mins to have their goals effectivly count for 2, it simply isnt fair.

Missed a sitter in the 90th minute which would have sealed a hat-trick and put us through, would never have been forgotten if he had! Great night though, shame we went out though.
