Amazing that Hibs have honoured the cup top up for season ticket holders, now that's what you call rewarding loyalty. Only one per ST though but that's fair enough. Hampden here we come.

I've probably missed this discussion so apologies if already been covered- in what way is the cup top up being honoured for the semi final?

Went in today on the way home from work and was given the choice of seats from a large bundle of tickets, makes no difference though as anyone with kids automatically gets the worst seats in the stadium!

I was east stand block F4 for last years semi and the view was total crud. Its a shambles that the east is the only stand with concessions. I just paid the extra for my son so we could get a better view in the north stand, section B2

Rows I and J not often used for lettering, so you probably are in 2 consecutive rows.

There will be a rush to buy tickets as folk go to renew their season tickets before Monday, Saturday will see a large uptake with the ICT as well, interesting to find-out how many have gone on Sunday

Top tip to anyone buying to check out online where you'd like to sit. I went to the ticket office yesterday to buy 7 and was told that the only place I could get them together would be the east. Checking it out now I see that wasn't correct and I could have actually got tickets in the south.

mhathorn1
27-03-2013, 09:20 AM
We have dfinately sold out the first two middle sections of the north (D1 & C5), and one in the east and south respectively. That would suggest a minimum of 4.5-5k so far. Possibly more.

I would assume we have sold 7 - 8k so far. Looks like 6 sections have sold out, of roughly 1,000 per section. Adding the extra seats in the sections not sold out, we could be onto a good crowd for the 13th....

Got tickets in post today. Bit confused. Supposed to be three adults and four kids. All tickts have "£5.00 Concession" on them, but three have an extra tab on the right hand side saying "Adult" on them. Presumably even though they've got "Concession" on the main bit they're really adult tickets? I take it everyone else with a mixed group is the same?

Say we did take 25k to the semi final. That would leave around 7k missing out on the final IF we get there. A dangerous game to play. Best bet is to do what we did last year. Get the fans into ER buy offering them the chance to enter a ballot or raffle if they attend a certain game at ER.

Question - got two tickets to BT stand and they are good seats. My mate also got tickets (breakdown in communication!). Can I go back to club and ask for a refund or ask for them to be resold? Worse case would be happy if someone who couldn't afford it went instead bit not sure if anyone has had this problem before? Assuming plenty tickets available not sure if selling them on eBay would be a good idea. Not looking for a profit clearly just want money back or to go to good home!

Nae wonder we have sold over 10,000 if people are buying twice the amount they need!!!!!:greengrin

You could try getting your money back, but I suspect you could be on a loser.

If you are at the game tomorrow go along to the q, hopefully it will be long and you will sell them no problem to folk near the back.

Brilliant effort from Hibs fans so far.

I know I can't place too much emphasis on this but last year East Lothian Hibs filled two buses for the semi against Aberdeen. This year we have filled three buses a full fortnight before the game.

A big support on the cards IMO.

Great effort to get over 10K..But...Bearin in mind season ticket holders were entitled to as many tickets as they wanted im not so sure the general sale will be as healthy...As season ticket holders will pretty much have bought all there mates tickets..Imo another 5k in the public sale will be sold giving us 15k plus which is fantastic.

This week pretty much every hibs fan that wanted a ticket will now have one in possesion prior to the public sale.

I collected our tickets from the church yesterday, the envelope containing the tickets had "Student ID must be shown" written on it in relation to my laddies ticket which is fair enough. No ID was requested by the guy that handed over the envelope??? I really think Hibs to need to up their game on this and ensure the system is not being abused.

Just about to purchase 4 x tickets, was thinking North Stand section D4. It came up row G. I don't want seats near the front I'm looking for middle to back and would swap section to get these. Can anyone help me with what row's are middle to back please?

Much appreciated :)

I would think anywhere between AA to ZZ would be middle to back.

How many have we sold?

From what I can see, we have sold the below:

North – 5 sections sold out - C4,C5, & D1 – D3 - so roughly 6K in seats sold here – minimum 5k
East – 8 sections sold out - F1-7 & G1– so roughly 8.5k here – minimum 8k
South - 3 sections Sold out - I6-4 sold – so another 3.5k here – minimum 3k

We are selling tickets in sections C3, D4, G2 and I3. This would suggest the above is the case. I recon 19k (16k so far) will be there. Hope all the north and east are sold out. Unlikely though. Not fussed about the south TBH.

Really hope D4 and D5 sell out/at least the majority of seats. Would look great, a continuous sea of green instead of a gap of seats between the north and east. Fingers crossed this will happen!

The SFA will have bulk printed the tickets and sent them over to ER, though you'd think in this day and age each competing club should be able to produce the tickets themselves.

Semi Final Ticket Update

Last year 13,000 Hibernian Supporters travelled through to Hampden to give their backing to Pat Fenlon and the team for the William Hill Scottish Cup semi final against Aberdeen.

The club are delighted to be able to confirm today that this figure has been surpassed with still a week to go on sales.
...
14,500 Hibernian Supporters have now secured their tickets for the match against Falkirk on Saturday 13 April (kick off 12.30pm).

So the person that said further up that we had sold over 15,000 as of Tuesday was wrong then?

I don't think we will sell much more, the bulk of people that wanted tickets will have them, ie pay day has been and gone for most. I reckon 16,000 will be a good target.

Keekaboo.. as for wanting G4-G5 I believe this is because they are more towards the corner of the East and not bang in the middle, ie behind the goals?

I was G6(I think) for the dreadful day in May and it was in the corner nearest the South.

Could be wrong here but I think that the total revenue for both semi finals (less costs) is split equally 4 ways (may even be 5 if the SFA have a slice too) so the attendance figures do have some importance. We'll make a noise regardless of whether we take 5k or 20k. For me the order of preference is.

1. Win the match.
2. Good attendance figures.
3. Outsing the Bairns.

One week to go. Bring it on.

Sorry if someone has already mentioned but any idea how many we have sold so far?

Woman in shop said over 15,000 to me today. Hibs fishy site said 14,500 on Friday so that ties in. They don't deserve us..............

I think a couple of positive performances / results in the run up might have helped our numbers a bit as well. There is nothing like going in to a tie feeling that you will win it to convince the part timers to give up with their readies.

As it is 15000+, with all the negativity around, is probably fair enough.

Notice you are from Falkirk. Is there a buzz about the place and do they fancy their chances?

I work in Falkirk, and I can tell you for a fact that the vast majority of Bairns fans - and players - are more than confident that they'll turn over Hibs.

I'd go as far to say that they think it's a done deal, given how poor Hibs have been of late and how awful our record is at Hampden.

I don't blame them tbh, can't say i'm too confident going into this one given how poor we have been lately and the fact hibs have a habit of loosing to smaller teams at hampden.

But what will be will be, i'm kind of glad they are going in confident as hibs really don't suit going into these games as overwhelming favourites.

Falkirk can't be that confident if they can't shift 5000 tickets for a semi. We have been poor but end of the day they are a poor 1st division club

I think you will be able to buy tickets at Hampden on the day of the match. I believe you could do that last year.

I was allocated row A behind goals for the 2001 final. Worst seat in world football (with the exception of the Asbestos Stand at Tynie).

They can think what they like.

Hearts, Aberdeen and kilmarnock thought all they had to do was turn up and they would win.

Their season is now over...and so will falkirks be after saturday.

OK, still playing funny buggers. Think it might be because one of my party is a student ticket. Has anyone ordered student tickets in their group and been able to get them posted out. Really starting to do my nut in as can't get through to Edinburgh in time.

Forgot to add, the student is on the database and has already showed their student card this season so the club should know he's a student.

Normally at the checkout online there is an option for delivery that says "students - collection only". As far as I know you have to pick up student tickets in person.

Even if their a ST holder and have already shown their card this season? Can't get through to Edinburgh before Saturday and if I leave it any longer it'll be to late to get tickets posted.
Anyone know how long the postage roughly takes/

:agree: Yep, I'm afraid that's the case. No idea about how long postage takes. Maybe you could try phoning rather than online and see if they will post them out? The official site says all tickets must be collected by the Friday evening, so if you're not going to be in Edinburgh till Saturday it looks like posting them is the only option.

Will need to phone them in the morning. Don't see why it should be a problem as they've already got a photocopy of his student card. I guess if they check his client ref number it'll show up.

I booked a set with a student ticket for my brother - after speaking to the ticket office on the phone they let me email in a photo of his student ID and they posted out the tickets.

The child ticket should be shorter than adult one, they will have removed the stub from the end.
