Hard to imagine it was all those years ago that this terrible shooting happened. hope people can spare a thought for the families today

How many years was it? As you say absolutely horrible thing to happen such a senseless waste.

I remember watching the drama unfold in a hotel bar in Gloucester prior to heading along to The Festival at Cheltenham for the racing, the only time I've been in a bar that was quieter was when we were in Zante prior to the first time Hibs were due to play in Athens as we sat and watched the tragic events of September 11th in the poolside bar.

I can also remember a few folk getting humpty as we had the cheek to break the silence as Diana's funeral procession was being screened on tv in The Persevere, surely if you were that bothered you would've stayed in the house to watch it!

I attended a funeral in Dunblane some months after the shooting and I don't mind admitting I was moved to tears at all the gravestones of the kids that had been killed. If there is a hell I hope Thomas Hamilton continues to burn in it

Hamilton took something away from us all that day. He was an aberration, and deserves no further mention.

Funny what you remember, I always think about the strong dignity Michael Forsyth showed that day. Never had much time for him as a politician, but he certainly showed he was a man when dealing with his duties.

17 years ago last Wednesday.

Happened on 13th March 1996.

I hope all those innocent children continue to rest in peace and I just hope and pray that we never see a repeat of this incident ever again in this country.
