Also an article a few days ago about a mother, from North East England, who gave her 13 year old daughter 3 ecstasy tablets as a birthday present.

It's definitely not confined to the USA.

There's ****bags all over the world and this could happen anywhere. Only difference is it might not get the same media coverage.

I've spent some time working in the US and it really grates when smug Brits talk about Americans like their all of gun obsessed red necks (not directing this at the OP, it more a general point). The vast majority are sound, normal people and the percentage of nutters is no different to the UK.

When my eldest was 2, he's now 21, he swigged a largish glass of Baillies and downed it before his mother and I realised what was going on!

I swear to God we had the most peace we had had for ... errrrr a couple of years :-)

I was sorely tempted in the months and years that followed :-D
