Romanov, whose assets were seized by Lithuanian authorities, said: “On the day the bank went into administration, the authorities froze all my bank cards and accounts.

“All that I had left was the money I had in my pocket. I was forced to borrow money from friends and immediately sell my property to raise funds.

“As for what I will do next, I think I will become a taxi driver.”

I don't see how he has the share money in his pocket. The club needed that just to pay ongoing costs, it wasn't just extra cash lying around.

very possibly being thick here, but doesn't "the money in his pocket" amount to everything that he and his chum who was running the yams were able to collect as cash before their current problems? i.e the cake money and the share money for which they will never see a bit of paper. If so he is well able to survive and the cash was actually all collected for nothing more than a Vlad testimonial, never even did 10 years either :confused:
