View Full Version : What price to miss Sunday's derby match?

Been a season ticket holder for nearly 30 years and not missed many Edinburgh derbies. Was looking forward to this game as we don't often go in as favourites.

Trouble is yesterday I just took in a booking for this Sunday for a private tour of Loch Ness area. I will clear about 300£ doing this. Its doing my head in missing the game but the money is too good to turn down.

So what price would make you forego the derby and not even watch on TV? What overtime rate or how much would it take to buy your ticket from you in the event of a sell-out?

Hope the fans in the home end are bouncing on Sunday. :flag:

If they are tourists and don't have a clue where they are. Fire them round Dunsapie loch at Arthur Seat and just nail a sign in the ground the night before saying "Loch Ness" :greengrin

Yup, and if they're first-time abroad Yanks, they'll believe it only takes 20 minutes to get to Loch Ness as Scotland is tiny! :greengrin

Correct. Sunday is day 1 of 5. They want to visit 40 places from Skye to north east England. Trying to tell them it canny be done wasn't easy :)

Tell them there are roadworks up north but finish on Sunday, nip them down to the borders early doors

This could very well be the last Derby as we know it, wouldn't miss it for any price.

Could be the last one ever, or for years, so worth attending..
