Most of you will be aware that the site makes a donation to Youth Development every year using any surplus funds generated. It's £2,500 this year and the club already has the money, with the cheque presentation taking place at half time during the Hearts game on Sunday.

The amount is a little lower than previous years and that's because we've put so much into Kicks For Kids, player sponsorships and buying shop vouchers (to give away as prizes).

The total amount that the site spent at the club between 1st March 2012 and 28th February 2013 is £11,804 which is pretty amazing!!

As ever, it's your financial support that allows us to do this, with Private Membership being our main source of income. If we didn't have such a strong Private Membership we wouldn't have the spare funds, and would have to fritter away what we have on those pesky server costs :greengrin

So thanks again for your continued support. If you're a Private Member and you see that reminder popping up when your subscription has around a week to run, spare a thought for what hibs.net can do with that tenner if you renew

And if you're not already a Private Member............... why not :greengrin

We hope to have some of the children who benefit from the Kids For Kids tickets taking part in the presentation at the Hearts game. That's still to be confirmed though.

Just to confirm by the way that we will be doing the Kicks For Kids fundraiser again this year, but we'll wait until nearer the end of the season. People have their own to buy first :greengrin

The site bought something like 76 season tickets for this season so we've got our work cut out to match that!

Great effort by all concerned and raising almost £12k after server costs is a magnificent achievement.

Make sure Hibs get something in their weekly email newsletter :flag:

Brilliant. Great effort. Thanks to all the volunteers who make this site such a success. I'm sure we can hit 100 kicks for kids this summer.

Just a quick update to this as Bill Hendry has been on the phone to say what's happening with the money.

It'll be used to take the youth teams overseas to give them some competitive matches, which is something they don't get in Scotland.

Thanks again for helping make this happen :aok:
