Whats the script with that? He'd be a yard quicker if he had a shave!

When I saw him at the start I thought it was Boyd in a cunning disguise. Then he broke into a jog and I realised my mistake.

Its a great beard and well worth it's own thread!

He'd be a lot quicker if he tried to beat the man instead of doing stepovers though!

Is he growing it for any particular reason?

As for his ability, he is a talented player - his bit of skill to get past Maybury at ER on wednesday was sublime - but he does tend to over egg it at times which must be pretty frustrating for you guys.

I was wondering about his beard as it looks like something pa broon would have, I reckon he has grown it to cover what I can only describe as a Quagmire/David Coulthard sized jaw/chin!

Yeah, that was what I thought. I have to disagree with my fellow female though, Dayton and his beard are hotter than McGivern. There are definitely too few beards in football.

If you are going to have a beard you are probably best to absolutely go for it like he has.

As I understand it, the players have been supporting fundraising for Prostate cancer charities. This has involved some facial-hair growing.

Some £70k raised, I believe.

Proper old school 1970s Open University lecturer beard; what I call an 'aff the face beard' i.e. proper bushy job. Wonder if he's grown it for charity or something. Can't be doing with facial hair myself. I feel like a tramp after a few days.

Every time I saw him in the last 2 matches, all I got in my head was an image of Grizzly Adams. ha ha

Or maybe he's going for a "Brad Pitt in 7 years in Tibet" kinda look.

Either way, not good.

Classic quote from Dayton in the Sun article, "They obviously don’t have much time for beards at Hearts.", is that a dig to a couple of HMFC employees liking their ladies young?
