View Full Version : Hypothetical Situation

Yes, looking at how Hearts are doing today, I can't see us getting beat a week on Sunday, but hypothetically, if you were told, you could either beat Killie and lose the derby, or lose to Killie and win the derby. What would you say?

Obviously getting a cup semi would be awesome, but we could get Celtic and get beat. However, we could get Hamilton or Falkirk and win and get to the final and maybe finally win that cup.

However, in this league every point is vital and we need as many points as we get, aswell as extending our derby unbeaten run (that I think could last a while for the record) and getting another one over on them.

Ideally, we'll win both, but I'd choose to beat Killie and have another trip to Hampden.

Thoughts?

beat killie, rather get to hampden and have a good shot at winning the cup. Hearts are obsessed with us and i bet most of them would rather beat us than go to hampden.

I'd rather we beat Hearts. Visits to Hampden with Hibs are ten a penny.

Would rather we beat Killie.

Losing to Hearts these days would be like losing to Dundee or St Mirren. (Just a minor blip)

Easy question for me to answer, in this scenario, beat by Killie and win against those puddle drinkers, NEVER EVER can I think of a situation that I would want them to beat us NEVER.

Beat Killie. You just know we'll get to the semi or the final and blow it against Falkirk though :(

Can't believe some people would take a cup qf defeat over a league win.

Win both.....Which I think will be the outcome anyhow

Rather we turned over Hearts. After all, there will be other Scottish Cup ties...

One game at a time. A win V Killie, then ask me what I'd like the derby result to be. :aok:

Win ,what could be the last derby in a while , draw with Kille ,then put them to the sword at the LSS .

Beat killie. Hertz don't matter to us anymore. Hertz'll be desperate to beat us so they can say they won the last ever Edinburgh derby. :greengrin;

Cup. Mainly because I can't make it next week, but am currently sat in Weegie Central waiting for a train to Killie!

Beat Killie. You just know we'll get to the semi or the final and blow it against Falkirk though :(

That would break my heart for 2 reasons.

1) Losing another Cup final.

2) I somehow work with two Falkirk fans...
