Recent history shows that if you let people in for free they'll come to the free game, but not necessarily come back!!.........

http://www.hibs.net/showthread.php?254271-Morecambe-v-Dagenham-amp-Redbridge-Free-Entry

Were those getting in for free also shelling out £380+ though? I see this idea as similar to a magazine subsscription offer - get the first 5 issues for £5 then pay £40 every 6 months. Or Sky saying have half price telly for 3 months - then we'll bat you full price.

Just purchased 3 season tickets for next year. I was one of the people who gave up last year as I could not justify the upfront cost for a season ticket. Delighted with the payments over 11 months interest free. Well done Hibs for coming up with this.

I think you have to consider that these other companies have a churn of customers who take the offer and then cancel and they have existing customers that cancel because they don't get the same offer. That's well and good if you have a potential customer base of millions but when your potential customer base is as limited as a football club like Hibs is, you can't afford that churn.

I just renewed x2 - had to press confirmation twice as nothing happened the first time. Then I got an e mail from Zebra and a text with my PIN number for Zebra.

Sounds like your transaction wasn't processed?

Did you enter the PIN code into your email which would allow you to see the documentation? You can then electronically sign the contract.

Williams was out too , they were in St James Centre.

Have to say the club have done fantastic with the promotion and season ticket packages for next year. Really hope we can break the 10k barrier.

The Forever Green Tour kicks off today. 06.03.2013
Ben Williams, Eoin Doyle and Ryan McGivern will be visiting Edinburgh City Centre and spreading the word at St James Centre, Multrees Walk and the East End from 3.30pm.

How about

1. Creating an 11 month payment plan.
2. Giving interest free credit.
3. Putting a half decent team on the park that is again in the Scottish Cup semi.
4. Giving free child places.
5. Offering the rest of the season for £80.
6. Having a draw to get your ticket for free, sorry make that 11 draws.
7. Coming up with fantastic marketing.
8. Offering a discount if you buy before 1 April
9. Confirming all funds raised from the season ticket sale go to the manager
10. Offering competive family prices for a set area and a fixed price for the rest of the stadium

Oh they did all that. It made me, a lapsed season ticket holder, return and the proof is in the eating. Judging by the tread a number of others have done likewise.

Don't really see what else they could do.

Pricing structure is spot on.

Probably wont manage all the home games but I'd much rather £35 went to the club each month rather than me pi££ing it up against a wall.

I totally take back all I said about kids being too expensive to take. Walk ups are dear but for £25 you can take them for a whole season! Amazing value.
It actually works out better than letting them in for nothing as the free hibs kids membership will knock £48 off the price of four selected games for a walk up friend.

It makes sense no matter what way you look at it! FF lower for us this time!

It depends on when you apply for the finance as to when the first payment is taken. If you apply early enough this month then likely payment will be just before or at the end of the month. In any case you can contact zebra and move the payment date to suit within reason.

I got an email and text message at the same time, the email had the link, the text had the pin.

Advice for people (though most will probably not be as daft as me) the cup top up option isn't seperate, you choose it instead of the £380 option. I bought the £380 option then had to phone the ticket office to add CTU instead of doing it in a oner. One lapsed ST holder and one new ST holder looking forward to next season already.

If I add the cup top up to my student season tic does that mean that the total £135 is divided by the 11 months of the payment plan? Or is it just the £120 that is paid by payment plan, with the £15 top up paid separate?

I'm interested in the adult + free child ticket in the F5 stand but when I go onto the site I have to pay the £25 for the kids ticket. Have they run out of free kids (it was the 1st 100) or do they refund the money later?

Also surprised at the lack of seats available in the F5 - it looks empty most weeks yet loads of seats are unavailable!

This season I got an adult season ticket paying the full 400 odd but next season I will be studying so will be entitled to a student season ticket although it doesn't give me that option when I try to renew online. Anyone else had this problem or am I gonna have to trek to Easter road to get this sorted. Also while I'm at it.. My season ticket wouldn't scan before the derby so I missed kick off anyone else have this problem or is the world trying to tell me hibs aren't worth my time or money.

I tried to renew mine and the kids a week after they went on sale and I was in the same situation. However, I went to the shop and got a free child - so my guess is the website doesn't have the facility to give a free child. I would contact the Hibs office or go into the shop.

I, along with a few friends of mine, have signed up for the first time in a few years, despite me not being able to make a few games next season. If the level of enthusiasm among my group of friends is anything to go by, I could see us having a very healthy number of season ticket holders next year. Hopefully that transmits itself into some good transfer dealings this summer, there are plenty decent SPL players out of contract.

Well done to Fenlon for getting a level of enthusiasm back among the fans and well done to the powers that be for making the ST buying process as simple and enticing as possible.

Did you get the email?

If you put in your mobile, you should have got a text message with a 4-digit code. You click the link in the email and type in the code.
This needs to be done if you haven't already done this.

Alternatively, you could get in touch with them directly.

Being from Dunblane its hard to find people to go with but eventually convinced some of my mates at school a couple of years to go and we ended up with 4 or 5 part time Hibees, just got my first ST since Yogi and got one for a mate to who has only been to about 7 or 8 games over the last few years. Payment plan swayed him (and me). Only 10er a month!

Thanks to the Payment Plan offer, I have renewed. Travel alone will cost me more than the ST but I've been addicted to Hibs this season. I've not been this hooked on the club since I was a lot younger so I renewed before I could come to my senses!

I hope I can make as many home games as I have this season!

Just renewed ST's for next season for me and my 3 kids (£640 ouch). Opted for the instalment plan for the 1st time.
Not a particularly well set up webite, i tried contacting the hotline number (about a dozen times for over an hour - i swear if i hear Hibs moaning about being skint one more time, after such shabby service, i'll fekkin' scream) but nobody answered.
Anyhow i know it will be the full amount divided by 11, however i did not receive confirmation of the amount or more importantly when it is being taken from my account.
I got a text from Zebra with my pin number but cant see anywhere on their website to enter it.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Interesting. I renewed and paid via instalment scheme and gor email from club confirming my renewal. I got a text from zebra finance with a pin but assumed all this was - was a way to access my account and just ignored thinking I had done everything. Am I wrong?

You need to access the account at Zebra with your and 'sign' (electronically) the agreement, (think you have to do it within 5 days - not sure, or its void) then they said they will notify me within a week when the payments are being taken.

Ooops, i see you already had a reply.

No, your seat is reserved for you to renew until the renewal deadline when it becomes available for others to purchase. Best contact the club.

You're clicking the wrong link on eticketing.

(alot have done this it seems)

Someone on the Bounce posted a step-by-step guide on what to click for renewals. Let me know if it works.

You should be able to renew your own seat on line no problem As long as its before the deadline for season ticket renewals.

Try refreshing the site and trying again, strange but frustrating i would imagine. Otherwise an early visit to the ticket office tomorrow will get it over and done with for you.

Don't think I'll be bothering this time.

I was thinking about getting someone to sort it out for me tomorrow as I won't be there due to work.

However, I've just had a read through the stuff that they sent me with regards to disabled pricing for next season and I'm pretty disappointed with it all.

Basically they have restructured the disabled pricing to put everyone into the same categories that everyone else is in (i.e. adult, child, senior and student), which I don't have a problem with. If you're a student, child or senior disabled fan then you're paying less than you did this season for the same deal (2 season tickets plus cup top up). However an adult disabled fan is paying more than they did this season for the same deal and, not only that, but adult disabled fans in the Famous Five lower section are the only people, sitting in that area of the ground, who are not paying less than people sitting in other parts of the stadium who are under the same category as they are.

Also, disabled adults in the east and west stands are the only people in those stands who are paying more than they were this season.

In addition to that, although most disabled fans do tend to bring a helper with them, it's not a requirement and not every disabled person needs someone to accompany them. If you're a disabled adult who doesn't bring a helper with you to games, you're seeing a 100% increase on the cost of your season ticket. That's simply not justifiable.

On top of what happened this season, when Hibs were advertising a price freeze on last season's prices, and the disabled prices actually increased by 20%, this is probably the last straw for me. Considering that I hardly ever get a weekend off from the job that I have at the moment, it's not really worth it for me to get a season ticket.

I have had a look at the pricing structure in relation to this season and next season and it's like this;

THIS SEASON

ADULT EAST AND WEST-£405 (free cup top up if renewed before 6th April) TOTAL COST-£405
ADULT FF UPPER-£380 (free cup top up if renewed before 6th April) TOTAL COST-£380

The price takes in the cost of the helper automatically rather than as an option then?

Won't it actually be cheaper for most categories of disabled people (with helper) than last season?

Raised this with Russell Smith and have been advised there was a communication (letter) sent to explain the policy most have renewed but there will be an ongoing dialogue also included in the letter.
Have you also raised with the disabled supporters association? NiKki is/was involved in LWT and the association so probably better placed to collate issues and feedback.

The changes suggest that they've realised that not all disabled folk need or take a carer and are trying to make more money from disabled supporters by charging as if everyone needs a carer IMHO.

I think FH's post is a perfectly valid post for a football forum. We've got plenty folk, including myself, saying that we're renewing. Why should we not hear the flip side?
