Incredible achievement from Daniel Day Lewis, securing his third Academy Award last night.
Quite surprised that Argo won best picture - well deserved in my opinion but it didn't strike me as an Oscar-esque film. Thought it would have been Life of Pi, Lincoln (though probably not considering it was a Spielberg) or Amour in all honesty.
No real surprise that Ang Lee won best director but I still find it shameful that Affleck and Tarantino weren't given a nod this year.
Quite chuffed for a good friend of mine who was part of the sound mixing team on Les Miserables who won that category :not worth
