I've witnessed better games in the Championship than in the EPL.

But in saying that, i've witnessed games in Division 1 that have looked more attractive than games in the SPL.

West Hammers got their goal when Joe Cole's shot, which was on target, was deflected past Guzan by Westwood. Tellybox is showing it as an OG, but isn't it the rule that the attacker gets the goal if the original shot was on target? :confused:

Was at Peterborough V Leicester yesterday. For a team meant to be near the top the foxes were woeful. Really poor game of football. Championship games are usually entertaining but this was honking.

Terracing was an absolute joke over there aswell overcrowding could have caused serious injury.

Heavily curling cross which, if it had not hit Westwood's head, would have been an easy take for Guzan standing between the posts. So Westwood's intervention made it into a goal, which it wouldn't otherwise have been. I am puzzled though because I'm sure I've heard commentators use the concept of something from a forward being 'on target' - ie heading for the goal - being enough to award the goal to the forward. Happens every other week that goalies are wrong-footed by deflections, but own goals are not specified unless the shot was going wide of the goal before it hit the defender. I say Cole's ball was not going wide therefore, to be consistent, it's his goal.

Which it hurts me to say, as he's a prize diving fud.

I was at the Livingston v Partick Thistle game earlier in the season and some of the football that was getting played was very entertaining. A great match.

The 1st Division has been great to keep an eye on this season. Not seen many goals or highlights but the competitivness has been great :agree:.
