Thought he looked lively when he came on, didn't get the break of the ball a couple of times that could have seen him into dangerous positions but I liked his direct style and hope he'll give us a bit of width and pace.

was a Matt finish.

Didn't catch the eye when he came on IMO. Had a couple of chances to run at his man, but seemed a little reluctant. Also gave the ball away sloppily after nice work from Danny Handling. Still, early doors.

Shouted for the ball and Williams found him with a great kick out-probably the best pass out of defence all day to add to his heroics.

got in good positions a couple of times but his touch let him down badly.

I thought the same, but he may well have been told to hold on to the ball by PF as opposed to taking on men/slinging in crosses.

He didn't do much, we were under the cosh a bit when he came on. He didn't look anything special but who can tell in the time he had and the circumstances?

Away & bile yer heid ..!!!

Can't argue with what he's said tbh, Spoony was pish today. Done didnt really do much, very left footed so coming on and playing on the right probably didnt suit him.

if you thought spoony got pass marks i must have been at the wrong game.

Lets slag Done after an outing of around 20 mins. Give the boy a chance, he needs to get match fit

This. Not so much match fit but get used to how the game is played up here me thinks

Made more of an impact and worked harder than Ivan when he came on this season.

Cannot even remotely judge him on the 20mins he had. Though it would be nice to see him play on the left as he did'nt seem overly comfortable on the right hand side.

Has anyone really slagged him off? People giving him the benefit of the doubt, no?

Not slagging him off at all! Just wasn't blown away. Like I said though, its early doors.

Dont really get the propensity for managers to play wide right foot players on the left and left foot players on the right. Cairney should have moved to the right with Done on the left.

Thought he was unlucky with the offside from where I was sitting. Doubtless I will be wrong, but it looked as if he had 'bent his run' as they say on the telly.
Once or twice he demonstrated that he has pace and doesn't look as if he will be afraid to take a man on.

And I hate to say this, but David Wotherspoon was bowff today. Done looked a better option during his short spell on the pitch.

Another winger getting played on the wrong side !!
When I seem him getting stripped I though great get Wotherspoon off, move cairney over to the right and Done on the left !!

Didnt do very much but did seem keen to get stuck in. We were under a fair bit of pressure near the end and were lumping it away from the box so difficult for the forwards to get onto the ball. The few times he did get the ball he did seem to take a dodgy touch and lose it, but need more than 20 minutes to see what hes like.

He had one really good run across the defensive line, only to be slightly offside, looked fairly lively and wanting on the ball, ssems to have an eye for goal.

He's better coming off the left, looked a bit uncomfortable on the right. PF should move Cairney into the middle and have Matt on the left wing IMO.

He looked lively and confident in the short time he had, willing to run at a man which is more than can be said about some past wingers we've had. He did seem to be a little heavy on his final touches though and was giving the defenders an easy tackle by not holding it close enough. But I'm sure that's just down to match fitness and getting back up to speed. It'll take him a bit of time to get used to the Scottish game and get back some sharpness. I look forward to it!

Im never one to slag players off but spoony was abysmal today, never looked interested from start...i wont lose much sleep if we dont agree new contract with him, has far too many "off days"

At last someone who isn't scared to run at his man and make something happen. First touch let him down at times but i am sure when he settles in and gets used to his surroundings he will become a decent player.

From my vantage point in my Manchester hotel room, I clearly saw that he was well off side unfortunately

1) Nobodies slagging him off
2) We have players that have been at the club for a couple of seasons and we're still waiting on them getting match fit...

I was screaming for him to take the ball down into the corner flag a number of times when he was looking to get into the box instead.

Far too early to be making any kind of judgement either way.
