Indeed, bet he wishes those goal stats on wiki were true as he'd have better offers than our (non existant?) one!

Wonder how much we've paid Carlisle to get him now or is it just a pre-contract agreement??

It's on facebook......it must be true.

Next.

Playing off a striker that can hold the ball up and bring others in would help though in creating chances. Our centre midfield get stick for not passing forward enough but you often see them having to turn back as there is nothing for them to hit.

With the current forwards we have we need to be pretty precise with link up and through the wide areas.

We have four players who should be getting in front of our two central ones but they seem to attract less stick than the two midfield central guys for our lack of creativity.

Am I the only one that doesn't rate him? He is carlisle's top earner, much rather we would put 2k a week towards Daly or Higdon.

No. I think he's Tom Kite. He'll get 8 SPL goals a season and, especially at this stage of his career, fill the back pages of the Evening News with endless mundane speculation about his fitness and his 'return to the fray'.

Can't say I would be overly excited by this signing.
Can somebody not go on facebook and say it is a load of crap - FACT  :greengrin

What you guys are saying. MUCH rather have Daly or Higdon - ior young Caldwell playing regularly, for that metter.

He was made captain a couple of days ago so would be surprised if he was looking at a move

I always remember his thigh high assault on Zemmama that was probably the clearest red you'll ever see. Thug, never liked him.

Not for me. Spends a lot of time on the floor. Not prolific in terms of goals. Give the kids a chance.

Either way, we have not signed Lee Miller.

I'd prefer a winger rather than another striker but I'm not sure if that will be part of the masterplan.

The most impressive stat is:

Aberdeen: 119 apperances, 874 goals

What a player - what a lot of balls!

He scored 1875 goals for Notts County in just six games on loan apparently.

That must have been 'when Notts were good.'
