Would levein go back?

I think i read in one of the papers that he was apparently recommending Pressley to the chairman which would rule him out.

With Partick doing well this season i'd like to think Jackie McNamara wouldn't leave them in the lurch at this stage of the season.

Can see Ian being quoted for the Falkirk job if Pressley goes to Tannadice though

Offered to Levein - he said no.

ST interviewed Pressley, MacNamara, McInness and Billy Dodds.

Pressley has been offered the job.

Nah, I don't think so.

It's very, very early days in his Managerial career although he's made a promising start.

Earlier than Pressley's when he got the Falkirk job?

Quite possiibly, though I reckon that Falkirk would be looking for a young, promising manager. Quite a few ex Hibees could be quoted, Hartley at Alloa and Gareth doing well at Livingston.

Cue Jimmy Calderwood being installed:greengrin

Surely a new manager at this point would veto any moves for Daly or anyone else so that he can assesss his squad with fresh eyes.

Skacel was already leaving. So we could of 'snatched' him anyway. There's a reason he's leaving Dundee united and that was his clear lack of passion.

I would assume any interest in Daly would be for next season.

If you've played for the Old Firm and have mates in the media, you can always get a sniff of these jobs no matter how poorly you have done.

Step forward Elvis.

I suspect that its more of a financial issue with him and UTD couldnt afford to keep him if correctly reported that they are looking to slash costs. If the case regardless of whos appointed I dont think this would change.

Skatchel?? I'd rather have Rankin back over that yam b******. Don't think any Hibs supporter would like to see that a****** in our jersey and rightly so.

Would love to have been a fly on the wall when Dodds was being interviewed. His command of the English language makes Derek Ferguson sound like an Oxford Don :greengrin

No danger I would even contemplate that poor excuse of a human being......Not selected to take penalty in a shoot out for new team against his heroes, and whilst playing for said new team at piggery, was clapping the hordes of morons........He is a yam trumpet......
