Good piece in the Sun today, interview with Chris Hogg talking about how gutted
he is to be missing the game against the only team in the world he DISLIKES :not worth

"Ex Hibs captain Hogg 27 groaned....you would be gutted about missing any semi-final but it
makes things worse its against the jambo's. From my time in Edinburgh they're probably the only
club in world football I dislike!

Once a Hibby, always a Hibby:thumbsup:

Superb! Chris always came across as both a good and an intelligent guy.

This just proves it.

Hoggy is a good solid professional --------------- and is obviously blessed with brains as well.

"Dislike" is such a tame word.

But I'm sure he was thinking of many better words in its place while taking the interview.

I'm pretty sure he meant 'despise'. Or is that too tame too? :-)

Just a pity he wasn't treated better by the 'support' here!

Some of the abuse he received on here from the wannabe managers was disgraceful.

Remember Hogg fondly for two great seasons. A shame how downhill he went after Jones left.

always really like hogg, the few seasons him and jones were together were as solid as any partnership in the league

Nah, sorry, not any good as a player in my opinion.

The fact that he only "dislikes" Hertz to me epitomises his softness as a player.

Bet Ian Black doesnt "dislike" Hibs.

Hoggy is an articulate and thoughtful guy who probably chose his words wisely, he probably wanted to say something stronger but knew he had to choose his words and the way he said it carefully.

Not only did he play for us but his wife's father was treated disgracefully by them ... Thankfully as I think they would have won the league that season.

Cannot believe that people are still getting stuck into Hoggy.

Thought he was a good player when here. People are far too quick to judge people on here and the abuse he took was horrific.

As for him disliking them i can guarantee he hates them:wink:

I haven't read the interview but I can guarantee the quotes have been made out to be more than they were and it was intended as tongue-in-cheek.

He's one of the nicest guys going and I think he would happily sit down and have a blether with a crowd of hearts fans about football before anything else.

Any two out of Caldwell, Smith or Hogg was trusted. He was a good defender.
